If you’re vegan, prepare to find your food off the resort and buy snacks at the grocery store across the street (bring cash lol).
I believe the dinner restaurant had a single vegan option. I did have the quinoa vegan sushi roll on the rooftop bar menu, but it was a “tasting plate” not a meal and I was left hungry and there was nothing else to eat. Nothing at the pizza place, nothing on the lunch or bar menu, etc. very paltry vegan options while on the resort. We really wanted to try some of the local food stalls and support the local economy around the hotel. Everything in the surrounding neighborhood of Alaia takes cash, even though up in town you can use a card at most places. We have stayed at other Autograph Collections and this was not the best… -needs an ATM! I see there are previous comments from months ago saying the same thing, and clearly one has not been installed.
Unfortunately the rest of the stay didn’t really live up to my expectations for an Autograph Collection property. Noe at the front door was our favorite, he always remembered our names and was so kind and polite. The property is gorgeous, with manicured plants, lawns, and beaches and beautiful architecture. We spent 3 nights at Alaia Belize and enjoyed our time here.
